Mothman

Mothman is a legendary creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from November 15th, 1966 to December 15th, 1967. The first newspaper was published in the Point Pleasant Register dated November 16th, 1966, entitled "Couples See Man-Sized Bird...Creature...Something." Described to be a flying man with ten foot wings.

The Mothman is suppose to be connected to the December 15th, 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant, WV. All sightings happened before the death of 46 people on Silver Bridge, while no reports were filed immediately afterwards.
